The course is designed to enrich through discovery and creative problem-solving while providing an overview of the role of the artist in interpreting and contributing to culture from local and global perspectives. |

Students achieve this goal by utilizing the varied fitness resources available in the Health Education Center as well as the natural environment of the Pierce College campuses. |
