Course Description
To strengthen music literacy skills, to facilitate an understanding of more advanced principles regarding chords, chord progressions, melody, and related ear-training skills. The Fifth course in the traditional college-level theory sequence. Designed for, but not limited to, the student intending to transfer to a four-year college of university as a music major. Piano skills equal to or above intermediate level piano (MUS121) are highly recommended.
